Watson Bowman Acme (WBA/BASF) offers the following benefits to all fulltime employees:

Medical Benefits – WBA/BASF pays a portion of the premium for medical benefits and offers a choice of two carriers with several coverage options which can be tailored to your needs. There are also prescription drug coverage options including a 90 day mail order plan.
Dental Benefits – WBA/BASF pays a portion of the premium for dental benefits and offers a choice of two plans.
Retirement Savings Plan/401(k) – WBA/BASF offers a Retirement Savings Plan to help its employees reach their financial goals for retirement. All employees are automatically enrolled into the 401(k) at a contribution rate of 5% of your eligible pay on a pre-tax basis. Once enrolled, employees may change their contribution amount at any time and can contribute up to 50% of their eligible pay up to the IRS annual limit. WBA/BASF will make a base contribution equal to 5% of the employee’s eligible earnings and will also match the employee’s contribution, dollar for dollar, up to the first 5% of eligible pay. The plan offers many investment options.
Vision Discount Program – All WBA/BASF employees are automatically enrolled in this plan which provides discounted fees for exams, lenses and frames.
Variable Pay Plan – WBA/BASF offers a variable pay plan (bonus or sales incentive) to all employees. The amount an employee may be eligible for is based on several factors and the payment is usually made on an annual basis.
Flexible Spending Accounts with Optional Debit Card – WBA/BASF offers both Health Care Accounts and Dependent Care Accounts that allow employees to have pre-tax payroll deductions deposited into the appropriate account(s) to be used for the payment of eligible medical expenses or expenses to care for your child(ren) or other legal dependents. Direct deposit or debit card options may also be available.
Paid Time Off – WBA/BASF has 12 paid holidays per year and employees earn vacation at a rate of 10 hours per month the first year (up to 120 hours or three full weeks), long term employees earn up to 6 weeks.
Life Insurance – WBA/BASF offers company paid life insurance for all employees at an amount equal to the employee’s base annual salary.
Short Term Disability – WBA/BASF provides short term disability coverage for individuals that will be out of work for extended periods of time. This coverage is for up to 26 weeks and is based upon the length of service with the company, providing up to 100% of your base pay.
Long Term Disability – WBA/BASF provides long term disability coveragefor individuals that will be out of work for more than 26 weeks. This coverage becomes effective after one year of service. Voluntary coverage (employee paid) is available for employees with less than one year of service.
Adoption Assistance – WBA/BASF provides company paid adoption assistance which reimburses employee for qualified expenses, up to a maximum of $3,000 per child (under age 16).
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – WBA/BASF offers an EAP for personal concerns, such as financial planning, legal matters, education, and counseling for family and other personal concerns.
Educational Assistance/Tuition Reimbursement – WBA/BASF offers a tuition reimbursement program for courses and/or seminars that are determined to be job related as approved by the Supervisor and Human Resources.
Fitness Reimbursement – To encourage employees to stay fit and healthy, WBA/BASF will reimburse employees for qualifying home fitness equipment or health/fitness club membership fees equal to 50% of the annual fee, up to a maximum benefit of $300 per year.
Matching Gifts – WBA/BASF offers a Matching Gifts to Higher Education Program (HEP) which offers employees an opportunity to double the value of their gifts to qualified educational institutions.
Employee Referral Program – WBA/BASF offers a program that enables employees to earn up to $2,020 for referring new talent to the Corporation.
Voluntary Vision Care Benefits – WBA/BASF offers a voluntary vision care plan that is fully paid by the employee and provides coverage for exams, lenses and frames.
Voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance – Employee may purchase additional (supplemental) life insurance through the Group Life Insurance Plan. There are various levels of insurance for the employee and the employee’s family.
Voluntary Long Term Care (LTC) Insurance – Employees may purchase long term care insurance to provide for personal care if the individual needs substantial assistance which is expected to continue for at least 90 days due to an accident, illness or the effects of aging.
Voluntary Auto, Home and Other Insurance – Employees have access to group rates for auto, home, boat, renters, condo, personal liability, motorcycle, rental and other miscellaneous coverage.
Employee Discount Program – WBA/BASF in cooperation with its various customers offer discount programs on the purchase of items such as computers, software, appliances, loans/mortgages and even automobile purchases.
Service awards program – WBA/BASF wants to recognize the years of service for its employees and therefore has a program that allows employees to select a gift to mark each 5 year milestone in their career.
